Miguel Kertsman founded Amazonica Universal Orchestra in 1988 in New York City listening to his "brother of sound", Brazilian composer Hermeto Pascoal saying "you've got to start a band". The regrouped Amazonica Universal Orchestra Collective includes musicians across four different continents.
